Visiting Us
Parking
The car park outside the Surf Beach Bar is a pay and display car park, we advise to ensure you have sufficient time on your ticket as the car park is monitored by a car park warden. In high season parking spaces are limited so advise parking at the top of the hill and walking down. The overflow car park is at the top of cove hill on the right.
Dogs
By order of the council, dogs are banned on the beach at Sennen from the 15th May – 30th September from 10am – 6pm (2021). Dogs are however permitted on Gwynver beach at the northern end of the bay.
Lifeguards
Lifeguards patrol the beach daily between from 10am – 6pm/April- October. Please visit the RNLI website for further information so you can visit and bathe safely.
Seasons
Sennen beach and the local area can become very busy in the high season (July-August). We cant always cater for everyone and there is likely to be longer wait times for food and drink. If you are looking so a busy vibe then visit us in the peak holiday times. Other times of the year is also preferred if you are looking for a quieter visit to enjoy the surroundings.

The Surf Bear Bar have a QR code at all tables which takes you straight to their menu, where you can pay online and within a minute or two of your order is at the table.
Really enjoyed our trip to Sennen and popped into the Surf Beach Bar, was greeted at the door and shown to a table with a stunning view of the cove. It was quick and easy to order using their website rather than queuing at the bar and our food was brought to us very quickly, would highly recommend.
Food came out very quickly. Ordered and paid on the website which was great. I had a pizza and we also have some juice and coffees. Beautiful view of Sennen Cove.
As an elderly couple we are still concerned about the virus so it was perfect that we could order at the table on our phone. We were not pressured into ordering quickly which allowed us time to choose what we wanted, and the food arrived within 10 minutes.
